DMW’s Investment in Education

Beginning in the early 1980’s with our Master Planning and Civil Design work at the McDonough School campus in Owings Mills, Daft-McCune-Walker, Inc. has been designing, developing, and delivering site plans for many of the finest schools and institutes of higher education in our area. DMW’s education efforts continued through the 1990’s and into the new millennium with public schools and institutions including Towson University in Baltimore County, and the Murray Hill Middle and Gorman Crossing Elementary Schools in Howard County. Our work also included private clients such as Johns Hopkins University, Goucher College, Garrison Forest School, Saint James Academy, Bryn Mawr, Oldfields, and the Saint Paul’s School to name but a few. We recently completed plans for Baltimore County’s Honeygo Elementary School near Perry Hall, and we are currently working on plans for replacement of the County’s Lansdowne High School in southwest Baltimore County. As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, it is with great appreciation that we extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all of our K-12 and Higher Education clients who have helped make this milestone event possible!
