Legacy Project – Broadmead

05.20.2020

In the mid-1970’s, The Stony Run Friends Meeting had a vision to transform an 81-acre Baltimore County estate into a continuing care retirement community named “Broadmead”.  They called upon the young, Towson design firm, Daft-McCune-Walker, to assist with an initial Master Plan and engineering designs for this innovative, rural life-care community, one of the first of its kind in the County.  Since that time, and through numerous expansions, additions, and campus improvements, DMW has been there to provide expert land-planning, surveying, engineering, landscape architecture and environmental compliance services to assist Broadmead with the stewardship of this special property.  Take a drive out York Road today and see DMW’s designs for the latest campus improvements being constructed as we once again keep our promise to deliver successful outcomes.
