SURVEY INSTRUMENT OPERATOR (FREDERICK OFFICE)

DMW has immediate openings for Land Survey Instrument Operator for those with experience performing Land Surveying tasks. The applicant will assist in all field survey functions to record measurements and other descriptive data by carrying and setting up survey equipment, measuring distances, making field notes and inputting data in survey equipment.  Other responsibilities include all tasks associated with the performance of boundary, topographic, control, and construction layout surveys. The position are full-time with the possibility of advancement into a Party Chief role.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma;
  • 3-5 years of experience;
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Microstation is a plus;
  • Familiarity with operating conventional total stations, electronic data collectors, automatic levels and GPS equipment.
