This is an outstanding opportunity for a junior project manager who is looking to grow.  We are seeking a civil engineer with at least six months of project management experience and at least 5 years of experience in land development engineering and design.  Candidates must be willing to take on project management responsibilities and run land development projects.  Minimum requirements:  BS in civil engineering or equivalent, EIT (PE is a plus), MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience.

>Part-Time IT Help Desk Intern
The entry-level part-time intern will be responsible for providing basic CAD and computer support for end-users (80-100 users) and assisting the IT Manager with daily troubleshooting and maintenance.  This is a temporary position and not a full-time position.  The position requires coming in three to five days a week between 8 am and 5 pm, for a total of 15-20 hours per week and is flexible enough to work around classes, daycare, other jobs, etc.  The candidate will also need to have experience and/or knowledge in dealing with help desk issues, software installation, new-user work station set up, printer trouble-shooting, hardware issues, etc.  This is an excellent paid IT training opportunity for the right candidate and can be used for credits toward a Computer Science, CAD/Specialized Technology or other computer-related degree.  The ideal candidate would be someone with a CAD background who is also computer/IT savvy.  Required Skills:  • PC Hardware • Microsoft Windows XP • Microsoft Office Suite • Networking Fundamentals & Applications  Desirable Skills:  • Windows 2000/2003 Server • Exchange Server  • Database Applications • Windows security concepts  • Network printing • Knowledge of CADD systems (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation)   The candidate should also have: • Good communication skills, both written and verbal • Enthusiasm and self-motivation • Excellent organizational abilities • Strong interpersonal skills  • Ability to provide support to users of all knowledge levels.

>Civil Engineering Project Manager – This is an outstanding opportunity for a junior project manager who is looking to grow.  We are seeking a civil engineer with at least one year of project management experience and at least 5 years of experience in municipal infrastructure planning, design, and construction administration.  Experience in land development engineering and design would also be beneficial.  Candidates must be willing to take on project management responsibilities associated with multiple projects.  Minimum requirements:  BS in civil engineering or equivalent, EIT (PE is preferred); AutoCAD experience preferred but not required.  Duties include: planning and design of storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water systems, water treatment, wastewater treatment, grading plans, and erosion control plans. Perform concept planning, preliminary planning, and utility planning. Prepare preliminary and zoning plans, as well as construction drawings. Prepare earthwork estimates, progress reports, project control documents, budget and cost estimates, and analysis and technical engineering reports.

>Administrative Assistant – We are looking for an administrative assistant who will help with the day-to-day administrative operations of our branch office in Berlin, MD.  This position will handle administrative duties including, but not limited to:  typing proposals, typing letters, typing specs, answering phones, preparing for client meetings, running office errands, filing, tracking and ordering supplies, and other duties as assigned by the branch manager.  This could be a full-time (40 hours) or part-time (32 hours) position that comes with benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off).  Pay is dependent on education and experience.  Candidates need to have good communication skills, both written and verbal; enthusiasm and self-motivation; excellent organizational skills; strong interpersonal skills.  We also need someone who is an independent worker and can perform with little direction.  We also need someone who can change priorities on a regular basis to meet the branch and client needs.  Required Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), good phone skills, filing skills, valid drivers license.
